Gazpacho are confirmed yet group with a strong identity in the progressive rock scene. This new album is even more complex and inspired from a compositional point of view. All tracks have a complex and almost atonal structure with sudden inserts melodically memorable ( the notes turn of piano within "I've been walking"), nostalgic voices like from a gramophone and oriental references ("Death Room"), parisian atmospheres with the accordion of "The wizard of Altai Mountains". The final ("The Cage") return to the more classic Gazpacho Sound Style of "Tik Tok" or "Night" album with the epic orchestrations. The guitars are only hinted at and almost replaced by the violins that dominate an album hard as it is fascinating.
